The Symphony is a brand new static caravan made by Dorset company Regal Holiday Homes.
We liked the 9ft ceiling height and the outlook doors and full height windows at the front, combined with the extra light flooding into the interior thanks to two carefully placed skylight windows in the dining/kitchen area, it seemed incredibly spacious. The bold colour scheme of the soft furnishings was not therefore overpowering.
It is some time since we reviewed an ABI static caravan so it’s appropriate that for this review we have chosen the company’s top of the range Westwood caravan which has undergone a complete revamp for 2011. It is a 42ft x 13ft single unit caravan built on a fully galvanised heavy duty chassis and has uPVC cladding as standard with oak grained timber cladding as an option. French patio doors in the end wall of the lounge and uPVC double glazing are also included as standard.
It is very rare for any manufacturer of holiday homes to produce a four bedroom model. But that is what Pemberton has done for the 2011 season. Named the Berkley, the new 40ft x 13ft home comes from a company with over 60 years experience in producing holiday homes to meet the needs of the public.
Anyone looking for a top quality static caravan will have to go a long way to find one better than the Carnaby Essence. It is a single 40ft x 13ft two bedroom home. Its ex works price is way above the majority of similar size holiday homes, but having said that, it does come virtually complete – even down to duvets and pillowcases.
