Their specially trained team aim to get your claim settled quickly and fairly, although all claims are unique and depending on the circumstances, some claims may take longer than others. Getting the information they need to them as soon as possible will help, but please bear with us during severe weather events.
In some cases we may be able to offer a faster ‘express settlement’, where you accept an agreed amount of money to proceed with repairs or replacement goods yourself. In these cases, we usually apply a ‘pre-existing damage’ endorsement to your policy until you can send us an engineer’s report confirming any repairs have been completed.
