2020 ABI Coworth static caravan review

The ABI Coworth might be in their starter range but with the deluxe pack added it features some nice extras!

Hot on the heels of the Willerby Kingston range is ABI’s caravan line-up, the 2020 ABI Coworth.

This seven model range is ideally placed for those wanting a new static caravan with a great value price tag.

ABI has produced some superb holiday caravans and lodges of late and the Coworth looks to be no exception. We take a look inside the 36ft x 12ft three bedroomed layout, complete with the Deluxe pack and a fridge/microwave fitted as standard.

The Coworth caravan comes with a pre-galvanised chassis on the Deluxe spec and is also aluminium clad with front sliding French doors and window. Fully double glazed windows are fitted and also guttering and down spouts.

With its apex roof and ABI moniker the Coworth is neat and looks like a modern static caravan.

Inside the ABI Coworth has a U-shaped front lounge with a three quarter dividing wall from the kitchen area.

The lounge has also a built in cabinet with shelving, including place for a TV, and below a standard fit electric fire. It’s all very light and air.

The dining area is opposite the kitchen, with a settee wall seat plus a wooden bench. Six would be a tight squeeze here but there’s plenty of room for four. The side window allows diners to see what’s happening outside as well as letting in the outside light.

The Coworth’s L-shaped kitchen is a good size with plenty of worktop.

A fridge/freezer and microwave are standard fit with the Deluxe pack, along with the hob and oven.

There’s plenty of cupboard storage here and worktop space – though wall cupboards are replaced by shelves.

Directly opposite the kitchen, you’ll find the family bathroom, complete with shower and side window. It’s not got much floor area but remains practical all the same.

The first twin bedroom is next door, which is the smaller of the two. It has a compact wardrobe fitted to the wall.

Bedroom two also has twin beds, but is slightly larger in length and allows for a larger full length wardrobe. Both are relatively basic, and don’t have any shelves fitted for books or nick-nacks.

The master bedroom has double bed plus a corner loo room with hand basin. It also has built in wardrobes, plus a small dressing table and shelving either side of the bed, plus a shelf above.

It’s quite a spacious room and the toilet room comes with shelves rather than a cupboard under the hand basin.

Similar to the rest of the Coworth there are plenty of power sockets and integral roof night lighting in each room.

Verdict: ABI has designed a good new static caravan range here, which will entice new buyers into the holiday caravan market. It’s nicely finished but is lacking in certain areas with shelving instead of storage cupboards. But at its price tag the 2020 ABI Coworth is certainly worth putting on your shortlist.

Plus points: Lots of static caravan for the money, deluxe pack, kitchen worktop.

Minus points: No shelving in the twin rooms, does feel a tad basic in certain areas.

In a nutshell: The Coworth is a great value caravan with options to upgrade and a variety of sizes and layouts on offer

  1. I’m buying at Craig Tara in Ayr scotland we’re buying the 3 bedroom ABI Coworth but it didn’t have anything else writing on it there are no sliding doors on this model just windows with the U shaped lounge sofa and usual other things I asked the park wich model it was and they say it’s under Delux but yet there’s nothing anywere that says this is a Delux if it’s not the Delux then what can it be then.

    1. Hi John, we are static caravan insurance providers so are unable to help with your query. ABI can be contacted on 01482 862976 or see their website: http://www.abiuk.co.uk. If it does not have Delux on the name plate it might be the standard model. Sorry we can’t be of much more help. Liz
