2021 ABI Arizona Premier static caravan

The ABI Arizona is produced for parks as an entry-level holiday caravan

ABI celebrate 50 years in 2022 and is a major force in the holiday caravan industry.

We looked at a special entry-level model that parks sell to help first-time owners get into holiday caravan ownership.

The 36ft x 10ft two bedroomed ABI Arizona Premier we review here slotted in below £40,000. Holiday park owners will also include decking in that price, making it a great first time buyers pack.

Prices will vary park to park depending on the deal they set up and you won’t find the Arizona listed on the ABI website.

The ABI Arizona Premier is a plain-looking holiday caravan but it’s well finished with guttering and downspouts. Clad in aluminium and sitting on a galvanised chassis, the small front bay window is a giveaway that this is an entry-level caravan.

Step into the ABI Arizona Premier and you walk through via the kitchen which is split into two sections. Go through and you have a front lounge area, with lots of floor space and L shaped fixed seating. There’s an electric fire fitted and a cabinet pre-wired for a TV.

The dining table is a corner unit with two free standing stools and built in seating in a denim blue colour. The lounge is bright, even though the front window isn’t that big. Windows are double glazed but the front bay windows don’t open.

The kitchen area is has a sink on one side and acres of cupboard storage. There’s a fridge with separate freezer plus mains sockets placed at sensible points on the wall.

The cooker is opposite the main stretch of kitchen and doesn’t have an extractor hood and there’s no microwave fitted either.

Here there’s lots of shelf storage around the cooker for all your cooking ingredients and with more worktop space, it really is a very practical kitchen.

The main bathroom in the ABI Arizona Premier has no frills but it’s very neat and comes with a good-sized walk-in shower. There’s also good shelf storage and a mirror above the hand basin.

The first bedroom is a twin room – again it’s simple with a central shelf floor unit with the mains socket above. There’s also a small wardrobe here and a mirror with a shelf for creams, etc to get ready for the day.

The Arizona Premier’s master bedroom is quite spacious with fitted wardrobes and a small corner dressing table by the side window. Again, other storage is scant with two small shelf units at either side of the double.

It’s light and practical with a large mirror for getting ready and a stool that comes with the dressing table.

The master bedroom also has its own small en-suite with a loo and handbasin.

Verdict: The ABI Arizona was built for a dealer some years ago but is now available through other parks. Designed with the first-time buyer in mind, this holiday caravan works very well as a good introduction to static caravan ownership, offering great space and kitchen storage.

Plus points: Very spacious front lounge/dining area, excellent kitchen storage and worktop and central heating plus a galvanised chassis as standard.

Minus points: Front lounge window not very big and doesn’t open, no wall cupboards in bedrooms.

In a nutshell: ABI offers a good package with the Arizona Premier. It’s a simple interior, build quality and good kitchen storage will appeal to those on a budget.

  1. Thanks for your email. If you knew anything about your customers you’d know we bought one of these in April!!!! Would have been nice to have had the decking included as you have on this deal – rude

    1. Hi Claire, hope you’re enjoying the Arizona. It looks a great ‘van. We’ve not quite reached the level of personalisation in our emagazines you allude to. However we do try to offer a wide range of hints, tips and model reviews for all those who subscribe to Relax. Decking is certainly not cheap and not always something a park will offer as part of the deal to buy a caravan. I’m sure your park operator could point you in the direction of some approved decking suppliers if it’s something your looking to buy for your ABI. Thanks again for insuring with Leisuredays and wishing you many happy holidays in your new caravan.”

    2. Hi Claire, Leisuredays are an insurance company and just review various caravans, lodges etc., they don’t sell them. If you’re unhappy with the deal you got on your caravan you need to approach your park owner.
