2022 Pemberton Marlow static caravan

Pemberton keep up appeal in the holiday caravan market with the latest Marlow line up

There’s something about stepping inside a Pemberton static caravan – it always appears more solid than most on the market. Maybe because in the modern era the Pemberton brand is noted for its lodges and upmarket appeal.

The Pemberton Marlow is no different – solid in build from the exterior based on its twin axle non-galvanised chassis. There’s a choice of exterior finish on the options list choice, along with front patio doors, which most buyers will plump for. Our review model was fitted with patio doors, which were not only aesthetically pleasing but more practical and preferable over a single window. Sixty mm insulation will keep the Pemberton Marlow static caravan warm in winter and cooler in hot weather too.

Although Pemberton make the Marlow as a static caravan, it’s also available to residential specification too, so they call the non-residential models the standard range.

It’s always good to have a choice should you want to be on a park that allows longer usage such as into the winter months. If this is the case, then to order the Pemberton Marlow as a residential spec you’ll need another £5,000 plus.

In the front lounge area, you’ll find an L-shaped settee offering lots of comfort and also a pull-out bed for the occasional stop over. Opposite is an electric fire with a fixing above for a TV while a large wall cabinet at floor level has plenty of shelves and drawers.

There’s also a large coffee table and separate armchair. Some sturdy shelves are fitted (one with LED integrated lights) while lounge lighting is taken care of with a single light pendant. Although there was an absence of LED ceiling lights in the lounge, there are some fitted in the kitchen area.

Checking out the Pemberton Marlow’s kitchen area and viewers will take notice of the excellent worktop space and cupboard storage. Users will no doubt find it all hard to use this vast amount of space, especially with wall cupboards fitted too.

The kitchen also has a separate fridge freezer and a quality microwave is also part of the spec. The integrated oven has spark ignition plus overhead extractor fan. Plenty of mains sockets are fitted and overall it’s all very bright, light and modern.

The dining area is combined with the kitchen. We liked the glass top table with its solid feel and four comfortable dining chairs in blue adding a pop of colour.

Moving into the back of the Pemberton Marlow and there’s a twin bedroom on the left with the communal shower and loo room opposite. The twin room has two beds with a central chest between. Wall cupboards and shelves add to the storage. There’s also a good sized wardrobe opposite the door.

The main shower is a good size with sliding doors and a large window allows light and ventilation too. The colour scheme is all very neutral for owners to brighten up with their own choice of coloured towels.

From the small corridor you head into the master bedroom complete with its own en-suite, although it lacks a shower. The bedroom has a double bed but not a lift up one for storage – that’s an option which is rather a shame.

There is however excellent cupboard storage included and as the rest of the Pemberton Marlow, it has a fresh, modern feel with a blue padded headboard ad accents of yellow in the curtains.

The dressing area features a dressing table, stool and large mirror, plus the with a socket for a TV wall mount. The wardrobe is a very good size and maybe we might have been tempted to have a smaller one to make room for a shower in the en-suite?

Verdict: The Pemberton Marlow is a well-built holiday caravan. It feels solid inside and that’s where your cash goes. The options list is quite extensive and we feel central heating as standard would have been nice. However, this is a pleasant static caravan which we feel would suit retired folk who perhaps might want to use the twin room for the grandkids!

Plus points: Solid build, quality feel throughout, sturdy dining set, good colour scheme.

Minus points: Master bedroom doesn’t have a double bed with storage, no shower in the en-suite and front lounge relies on a pendant light rather than integral ceiling lights.

In a nutshell; if you’re after a solid, well insulated static caravan with residential optional spec this is and should be on your list. We liked the décor and good-sized kitchen plus a spacious lounge.
