The interior design and layout of the Atlas Status 6 static caravan are dominated by angles and circles.
The features that make this a stunning holiday caravan are the angled wall that forms a divide between the lounge and the kitchen, and the use of angles within the kitchen. And the circles? That’s the dining table and, as you take a first glimpse down the corridor to the main bedroom, you catch sight of an enormous circular mirror.
In the Atlas Status 6 kitchen, the four-burner hob on a black glass base is set at an angle to the sink and the two cabinets beneath it. There’s another angled surface and cabinet suite to the right of the sink. This suite houses the oven, at waist height, and the microwave above it. The effect is to give this static caravan immense character and to differentiate it from pretty much everything else on the market.
The large dresser mixes the gloss-white finish that’s on the kitchen cabinet doors with cappuccino shade woodwork. It works really well and this unit gives you three lower cabinets and two upper cabinets, plus a shelf running the whole width of the units, and a large surface area – perfect for serving up a morning coffee or evening drink.
Another outstanding feature of the Atlas Status 6 is the colour scheme. Bright turquoise velvet upholsters the comfortable dining chairs, and paler turquoise/grey shade is the background colour of the cushions and curtains, which have an embroidered design.
The grey velvet three-piece suite in the living room looks classy and quality. And there’s a surprise: the two armchairs rotate!
The angled wall that is the outstanding feature of the lounge is finished in marble-effect; grey-brown with white veins. There’s also a log-effect fire in a black frame.
The main bedroom gets the bold turquoise touch, too, for the deep bedhead, bed runner and one of the cushions, plus the cylindrical dressing table stool, above which sits the big circular mirror in a black frame that we glimpsed before we’d even stepped into the corridor that leads to the bedrooms.
Angles play their part here too, in the form of the door to the en-suite bathroom, set at a slant from the wall beside it.
Black over-bath shower fitments add in-vogue styling, as do the “Naturewall” panels (natural wood, vertically aligned, against a black background) on each side of the bedhead.
A huge, double-doored wardrobe containing four shelves and with two drawers beneath it makes sure the ‘good clothes accommodation’ box gets a firm tick.
The twin bedroom in the Atlas Status 6 has the same styling; tall turquoise upholstered bedheads, with a Naturewall panel between them. And here again there’s an angled wall, alongside the wardrobe, and a triangular dressing table has been neatly fitted in here.
Above the bed, the wall cabinets are set into an angled unit that takes advantage of the pitch in the roof.
The family shower room is opposite, again with a black sink tap and shower fitments.
Verdict: There’s a plush feel about the Atlas Status 6, leaving you in no doubt that you’re in a quality static caravan. Nice touches include voiles to the side windows of the lounge, and stylish, right-angled steel supports that hold the blinds back away from the central double patio doors.
We love the rotating armchairs too! And the design that uses angles to create an outstanding overall layout is inventive and impressive.
Plus points: A bath en suite. A five-position vertical wine rack. Armchairs that rotate. Plush velvet upholstery
Minus points: None

Does the ex works price you’ve quoted include all the optional extras on the review model?
Hi David, if you go to the Atlas website there is a list of dealers and parks: https://atlasleisurehomes.co.uk/find-a-park-or-dealer
Prices of the unit will vary dependant on the location of the park. The ex-works price would not have included the optional extras but it’s best to check with the dealer or park as there are other optional extras available.
Hope this helps? Liz
