The Omar Image park home has a delightfully open-plan feel, with a dining area that flows from the huge lounge, feeling part of it, yet with its own identity.
For 2024, the Image gets a new interior design and new colours. Plain pale blue curtains and cushions, and plain cream settees, create a classic look, together with the cream fireplace that houses a log-effect fire in a chrome surround.
A console table and coffee table, plus a next of two tables, all with natural wooden tops on matt cream fames, add to the classic look that works so well.
Alcoves on each side of the ‘chimney breast’ wall are backed by wall covering that, until you touch it, would have you believe that it is composed of grey wooden slats on a black background. In fact, it’s wallpaper; very cleverly designed, and very effective.
Space is a keynote of the Omar Image kitchen, not only in terms of the floor area, but also the work surface, which is an attractive stone-effact in shades of grey cream and fawn.
There’s surface to the left of the four-burner hob and vast amounts of space on each side of the sink, all backed by white gloss, bevelled edge tiles.
The oven-grill is on the left side of the kitchen and the fridge-freezer, which contains a four bottle wine rack, is on the opposite side. A dishwasher and washing machine are integrated into the cabinet suite that provides eight lower cabinets, three drawers and there are also seven upper cabinets.
On the wall of our review Omar Image, facing us as we leave the kitchen to explore the bedroom area, are the words ‘Our happy place’ in scripty font. Is seems to sum up this little very aspirational park home.
We find the second bedroom, with a light, bright aspect and a continuation of the Omar Image’s blue accent colour theme for the curtains and the upholstered bedhead, plus two cushions and a bed runner.
A large wardrobe and a simple dressing table with a stool take care of the practicality. Opposite this bedroom is the bathroom, with plain grey textured wallcovering, a tall chrome towel wamer and a large washbasin.
The main bedroom continues the blue theme, again for curtains and the headboard, cushions and runner and has a modern wooden nature feature wall. This room and its en-suite have a super secluded atmosphere, feeling somehow far away from the rest of the home.
A wardrobe flanked corridor leads to the shower en-suite, with identical styling to the main bathroom.
Verdict: If a spacious home is your happy place then you have found it in the Omar Image park home. If you want plenty of kitchen surface space and cabinets galore, you have found those, too.
There is an endearing simplicity about the Omar Image’s styling; nothing ornate, everything practical. It has a sociable feel about its open-plan layout and also has a feeling of cosiness.
Plus points: The vast amount of kitchen surface. Plenty of kitchen cabinets. The secluded feel of the main bedroom. A wine rack within the fridge

In a nutshell: An open-plan park home with a spacious kitchen, clearly designed for sociability as well as practicality. And Omar has conceived the Image with affordability in mind.
