Love Holiday Homes may only be approaching their fifth year in business, but they’ve already established themselves as a trusted name in the UK’s caravan and lodge market. Based in the city of Hull – which celebrates 80 years of caravan manufacturing next year – the company has joined a proud tradition in an area once central to timber importing and exporting across Europe.
Here, we take a closer look at their latest model – the Love Mountview – a 40ft x 20ft two-bedroomed twin holiday lodge.
Exterior
The Mountview has a classic lodge design and sits on a painted chassis, with the option of a fully galvanised finish. Double glazing and PVC-U foam wall cladding are standard, and at the front, large patio doors and a landscape window help maximise views and natural light.
Lounge
Inside, grey tones dominate the décor, with two comfortable sofas complemented by patterned scatter cushions and matching curtains.
A TV cabinet sits neatly in the corner, with an electric fire and mirror above a storage unit, adding both practicality and ambience.
Although the Mountview comes with full central heating, the fire creates a cosy focal point.
LED ceiling lights and multiple mains sockets with USB ports add modern convenience, while a free-standing coffee table completes the living space.
Dining and kitchen
Step through to the centre of the Love Mountview lodge and the dining area is on the left with a table and four chairs. There’s also a practical storage cabinet behind, complete with large shelves and two large cupboards.
Opposite, the designers have created an excellent kitchen, complete with a breakfast bar with two high stools. It’s well planned out with acres of storage and worktop space, plus there’s the all-important microwave, fridge and an electric oven with gas hob.
Again mains sockets are well placed as are LED lights. There’s plenty of floor space for food prep and cooking, and the grey finish to the cabinets combines well with the light wood grain also used for the worktop.
Entrance Hall
In addition to the front patio doors, the Mountview has a handy side entrance via a hallway that includes a padded storage bench, sink with cupboards beneath, and overhead storage with coat hooks. It’s perfect for tackling muddy boots and paws before heading indoors.

Bathrooms
The main bathroom features a small bath with overhead shower and glass screen, plus a hand basin with storage beneath, a toilet, and a tall fitted cupboard. There’s plenty of space for washing and changing.
The master bedroom’s en-suite offers a corner shower cubicle, toilet, and basin with storage below. Finished in a clean white colour scheme, it feels spacious and leaves room for owners to add their own splash of colour.
Bedrooms
At the back of the Love Mountview holiday lodge are the two bedrooms.
The twin bedroom features adult-sized single beds, a dressing table, and twin wardrobes – making it suitable for adults as well as children.
The master bedroom includes a double bed with bedside cabinets, mains/USB sockets, TV point, a dressing table with stool and mirror, plus a walk-in wardrobe offering excellent storage.
A large side window also allows in plenty of natural light.
Verdict: The new Love Mountview is a well-proportioned and thoughtfully designed holiday lodge that makes an immediate impression. Even on the grey, rainy afternoon we visited, it felt light, inviting, and homely. Its appeal lies in its solid build quality, generous bedrooms, and practical yet stylish living spaces.
