The Burgundy is a classic Swift static caravan name making a welcome return for 2026 – and it’s back with light, airy interiors and plenty of thoughtful touches.
Swift celebrates 21 years as a static caravan and lodge manufacturer in 2026. Back when the company first entered the static caravan market, it faced stiff competition from big names like Atlas, Willerby, and ABI UK. It took time to establish itself, but Swift soon found its footing, and is now one of the UK’s leading holiday caravan manufacturers.

After producing some impressive models in 2025, Swift hasn’t rested on its laurels. For 2026, the brand continues to evolve with new ranges, including the revived Burgundy. Here, we take a look at the 36ft x 12ft, two-bedroom model, which includes an en suite in the master bedroom, a separate dining area, and a spacious, comfortable lounge.

On the outside, the Swift Burgundy static caravan features a galvanised chassis, sandwich bonded walls full guttering and down spouts while double glazing is also part of the spec.
Living area
The lounge features an L-shaped fixed settee that should seat up to six people in comfort, a coffee table with two neat padded stools and a large side cabinet that offers both storage and a spot for the TV.

One omission is an electric fire, which would be a cosy addition for chilly evenings.

The side dining area features a solid table with four chairs, and a side window allows natural light to flow in and can be opened for ventilation, adding to the sense of space and comfort.
Kitchen
The U-shaped kitchen is well-designed and practical with plenty of cupboard and drawer space as well as wall-mounted storage.

Equipment includes a four-burner hob, gas oven and grill, microwave and fridge/freezer. The gold handles and modern colour scheme give the kitchen a contemporary feel that matches its functionality.
Bedrooms and bathroom
The Swift Burgundy’s main bathroom features a shower, toilet and hand basin along with a radiator and a large opening window. While there’s no cupboard storage, a handy shelf is provided, and the gold-finished tap adds a touch of style.

The twin bedroom is compact yet practical, with overhead storage cupboards, integral shelving, and a corner wardrobe that provides ample space for two people’s belongings, whether adults or children. We loved the wavy wooden bedhead feature!

In the master bedroom, it’s a similar design as the twin but here you’ll find a king-size bed with an upholstered headboard, along with the wavy feature, overhead cupboards with shelving, and bedside storage.

A double wardrobe offers ample hanging space, and there’s also a small vanity unit with a mirror for getting ready for the day.

The en-suite includes a toilet, hand basin, and shelving, and while it’s a generous size, it doesn’t quite have room for a shower.

Verdict: The Swift Burgundy static caravan represents good value for money, offering an appealing mix of quality, comfort, and specification. The spacious front lounge with its large windows (or optional patio doors) is a real highlight, creating a bright and welcoming space to relax.
While the absence of an electric fire is a small drawback, it’s a minor compromise considering the excellent LED lighting, kitchen storage, and well-designed bedrooms.
Plus points: Great build quality, excellent kitchen storage and worktop space, comfortable lounge seating.
Minus points: No electric fire in lounge and no fitted cupboard storage in the main or en-suite bathrooms.
In a nutshell. The Swift Burgundy is a solid, stylish, and family-friendly static caravan with plenty to offer. With its smart interiors and dependable build quality, it’s definitely one to put on your shortlist.
