A contemporary new static caravan range from Swift with a modern flat décor vibe
Swift saw 2025 as an opportunity to introduce new models into its holiday caravan and lodge line-up up. Here we look at the all-new 38ft x 12ft two-bedroomed Swift Margaux static caravan.
The Margaux has a typical Swift look about it. It sits on a galvanised chassis and has Swift’s bonded sides, as found on today’s touring caravans, offering better heat retention and noise reduction. Gutters and downspouts are standard and the sides are in aluminium grained finish. The windows are double glazed and we liked the large front windows with a sliding door.
Step inside the Swift Margaux and it has a contemporary interior, which feels like a modern flat, with its two settees in grey – one a two seater the other a three.
The lounge has a TV cabinet and a large side dresser unit with built in storage and an electric fire. We liked the large side windows and dark side wall finish.
The dinette area offers seating for four with its retro-styled velvet bucket chairs and round table. In burnt gold they offer a great pop of colour.
This area also has a good-sized deep window too. A low pendant light over the table area would be a nice touch but the integral LED lighting will provide good nighttime illumination.
The Swift Margaux’s kitchen is opposite the dining area. The cupboards have a simple panel design with a mix of dark blue for the lower cupboards and a light grey for the upper ones – all very tastefully executed.
There’s also a good run of worktop and plenty of cupboards and drawers for all your cooking needs. And an integrated microwave is at a good easy level to reach and operate.
A four burner gas hob with oven and extractor fan is fitted and a new styled fridge and freezer is also part of the spec, plus, of course, several well-placed plug sockets.
The twin bedroom offers two adult-sized beds and although the room doesn’t feel very spacious for adults, it will be well suited for two children.
There’s ample overbed storage, as well as a well-placed central drawer between the beds, and a single wardrobe.
Both beds have Duvalay mattresses – for an excellent night’s sleep – and the modern design elements creep in here with funky black and white graphics above the bed heads.
Opposite the twin bedroom is the main shower room fitted out with a loo and standalone sink. There’s storage beneath and a mirrored cabinet above.
It’s all tastefully carried out with black taps and fittings continuing the modern feel of the Swift Margaux static caravan.
Into the master bedroom and you won’t fail to be impressed by the size and space of it. The bed itself is king-sized with a lift up base for extra easy access storage. There’s a twin wardrobe with built-in shelving next to it and wooden bedside cabinets with smart reading lamps at each side of the bed.
Two further wardrobes frame the dressing area, which also features shelving, a large mirror and padded stool. A separate drawer beneath the dressing table would have completed this unit.
The Swift Marguax’s master bedroom also has its own en-suite so nobody will need to wait for a shower!
Verdict: Swift has turned the screw up with their new holiday caravan range and the Margaux confirms this. We liked the solid build and the flair of colours in the design.
For a couple with a guest room this would be an excellent buy. The bonded sides also add to its insulation properties and strength. With several models to choose from we feel the 38ft x12ft two bedroomed Swift Margaux might be the most popular choice!
Plus points: Great build quality, spacious master bedroom, kitchen storage and worktop, lounge seating
Minus points: No drawer in the dressing table, but very little else
In a nutshell: A cracking static caravan that needs to be looked at if you’re looked to buy. A spacious lounge with good seating and we loved the retro-style dining seats!
