Fans of Atlas Leisure Homes brand will be pleased to hear that it’s set for a comeback, following its acquisition by the Rix Group.
The well-known Hull-based company, which sadly went into administration earlier this year, has had its intellectual property, model designs, and equipment acquired by the Rix Group. The brand, which was founded in 1973, had built a loyal customer base over five decades before ceasing trading in March 2025.
Now, in a move that aims to strengthen the UK’s holiday home manufacturing sector, the Atlas name will live on as part of the Rix Group’s growing portfolio – which already includes Victory Leisure Homes (also based in Hull) and luxury lodge manufacturer Prestige in Northamptonshire.
The Rix Group’s managing director, James Doyle, described Atlas Leisure Homes as a “household name” that holds a special place in the hearts of many static caravan and lodge owners:
“The brand has a huge number of faithful followers, many of whom are intergenerational,” said Mr Doyle. “We wanted to bring the brand back to life and align the quality to that of our other brands.”
By bringing Atlas back into production, the group plans to offer a wider range of static caravans and lodges, catering to all segments of the market. Once fully integrated, Atlas, Victory, and Prestige will work together under the Rix Group umbrella to provide one of the most comprehensive product line-ups in the industry.
This acquisition is also expected to open up more opportunities for the Rix Group in the UK leisure home dealer network.
“Dealers are excited about the return of Atlas,” added Mr Doyle. “It’s a brand that is very familiar to their customers, and as such is in demand.”
With its focus on quality design, innovation, and quality, the Rix Group is confident that the reborn Atlas Leisure Homes brand will thrive in today’s competitive static caravan and lodge market.

And for those thinking of buying a new static caravan or lodge, the revitalised Atlas range will provide more options, especially if you’re drawn to a brand with a rich heritage and proven track record.
