The Casa di Lusso lodge from Prestige Park and Leisure Homes is one of those units that must be seen to be appreciated.
The model viewed here features a number of upgrades and has several design options available to choose from. The interior décor scheme uses a shabby chic vintage style with distressed whitewashed tongue and groove wood panelling on the walls. The upholstery colours in the living area are traditional with mustard highlights.
Two sets of double doors on the gable end lead into the open plan living area with a huge sofa and two arm chairs facing a feature wall unit with a electric flame effect fire and space for a television. Vertical radiators give a contemporary look to the area and the taupe laminate floor is very practical, more so as it extends into the dining and kitchen areas.
The distressed look oval table has six fully upholstered chairs, and a pendant light hangs over it; the table is extendable.
The kitchen has plenty of rustic charm, despite the range of modern appliances on show. These include a stainless steel fronted American fridge freezer, dishwasher, five burner gas hob with cooker hood, an electric oven and grill, 1½ bowl linen look stainless sink and a wine rack. The cupboards are matt white with a textured finish, while the breakfast bar adjoining the sink is extremely practical. A small utility room houses the dual washer dryer and the central heating boiler.
A feature radiator in the hall leads the way to the luxurious master bedroom with a white king size, four poster bed and canopy, free standing chair, dressing area and wardrobes, and an en-suite shower room, fully tiled in the shower cubicle.
Inside the second bedroom there are twin beds, a central bedside table, a good sized cupboard with shelves and a clothes rail. Both bedrooms are well proportioned.
The family bathroom has the luxury of a deep, modern, roll-top bath with a shower.
Green credentials include A rated kitchen appliances, foil backed wall insulation and a Vaillant boiler for heating and hot water with eco tech efficiency.
Verdict
The Prestige Casa di Lusso is an impressive lodge, full of rustic charm, with a certain Belle Époque elegance. The split roof distinguishes the exterior from the rest of the pack.

Very impressed with the interior decor easy to live with and maintain. Not sure of the four poster I feel it clutters the area. Fridge Freezer stainless steel shows all finger marks etc. Radiators good easier to maintain when up-right.
I have just bought a Cassa and changed floor plan so that we now have two double bedrooms both with en suite bathrooms. This is more suitable for when friends and family wish to join us.
