<\/p>\nWhen it comes to owning a static caravan or holiday lodge, many are likely to have a long list of essentials to make their home away from home feel just right.<\/p>\n
Last month we asked owners which creature comfort they simply cannot holiday without.<\/p>\n
After 113 votes the creature comfort poll results are in!<\/p>\n

Leading the pack and taking the top spot was an air fryer with almost a fifth of the votes (19%) It’s become a must-have item for its versatility and convenience for cooking on the go and clearly making it a favourite among holiday caravanners.<\/p>\n
Whether it’s catching up on shows or watching the news, a TV was a close second with 16% of the votes, providing entertainment and a touch of home comfort.<\/p>\n
For many, a holiday isn’t complete without their furry friend. “Our dog” was the third most popular creature comfort for holiday caravanners with a 15% share of the votes.<\/p>\n

In fourth place, 10% of voters like to escape in a good book or use an e-reader like a Kindle – a popular way to unwind and relax when at your holiday park.<\/p>\n
A classic comfort, a good cup of tea – or coffee – is essential for many caravanners, with teabags and a coffee machine each taking an eight percent share of the votes , making sure owners start and end their days just right.<\/p>\n

Personal bedding makes a big difference in comfort, helping caravanners sleep soundly. Four percent of voters chose bedding as their creature comfort, with cosy blankets and a familiar pillow from home each receiving a small two percent of votes.<\/p>\n
Janet Kerr commented that she loves the cosy throw on cold nights and Roger Hulme said a king size warm duvet was a must – even though the bed is only a double.<\/p>\n

“Surely central heating is a must in any caravan on a British site?” he added.<\/p>\n
It didn’t receive many votes but keeping toes toasty on chilly mornings is a small but significant comfort and received a three per cent share of the votes.<\/p>\n
Back to the kitchen and a slow cooker also received a two percent share of the votes – great for\u00a0those who love a hot meal ready after a day of exploring.<\/p>\n
Bringing music and podcasts to life, a Bluetooth speaker adds entertainment value to any stay and had a small number of votes (1%). As did a practical and often necessary\u00a0toolkit for any small repairs and adjustments.<\/p>\n
The “other” category included various personal items that didn’t fit into the other categories but are just as important to individual caravanners., such as an Oodie, a house rabbit, camera and automatic playing card shuffler!<\/p>\n
