An e-bike can certainly complement the static caravan or holiday lodge lifestyle \u2013 allowing you to explore further afield as well as coming in handy for more local trips.<\/p>\n

Put simply, a bike of any style becomes an e-bike when it has a motor to complement its pedal power.<\/p>\n
What it does mean is you can have a bit of extra help on a bike ride, whatever the terrain, when needed. E-bikes are also referred to as electric bikes, pedelecs and EPACs (Electric Pedal Assisted Cycles).<\/p>\n
Technically, an e-bike has a motor that\u2019s restricted to 250Watts that will provide power for up to 15.6mph as far as road use is concerned (you can pedal faster without motor assistance should you want, and you can only receive powered assistance over 4mph when pedalling).<\/p>\n
