We have listened to our customers and further improved what was already an extensive holiday home policy without any premium increases. We’re also delighted now to give holiday home owners the option to quote and buy via our website. So far feedback to the new policy benefits and the online system has been very positive.<\/p>\n
One key improvement is to extend the age limit of our popular ‘replacement with new’ cover option for static caravans, lodges and chalets up to 15 years (previously 10 years). Such cover means you’ll get a brand new holiday home, in the event of your existing holiday home being damaged beyond repair. Of course market value cover is also available for any holiday home over a year old and this simply pays out its current market value should the worst happen.<\/p>\n
Emergency accommodation costs are now paid at up to \u00a375 a day (previously up to \u00a350) – this means that if your static caravan or lodge is damaged in such a way that you cannot stay in it whilst you are on holiday you will receive \u00a375 a day for up to 14 days to help towards continuing with your holiday plans.<\/p>\n
Public Liability cover has increased from \u00a32 million to \u00a35 million – this is used in the event of a claim against you by a third party, which involves your holiday home.<\/p>\n
A new addition to our policy is a legal expenses cover option, provided by LawShield UK Ltd. The option costs just \u00a310 and entitles the policy holder to legal representation and consultations if required anytime during the 12 month policy.<\/p>\n
