Our policy automatically covers UK residents who holiday in their caravan, in Europe, for up to 90 days per trip. UK includes England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
We do not cover caravans that are left abroad when not in use.
There is no need to inform us if you are going to Europe.
European cover is automatically included in your insurance policy for up to 90 days per trip and may be able to be extended on request. Please note, our policy is suitable for caravanners who stay in their caravans for a maximum of 6 months in total in the policy year.
We offer new for old cover for touring caravans up to 15 years old.
New for old cover ensures that if your caravan is damaged beyond economical repair, your caravan and equipment will be replaced as new (of equivalent specification).
To ensure new for old cover applies, you must insure your caravan and equipment at the value it would cost to replace with new (of equivalent specification).
We offer the option to choose an excess that suits you, anywhere between £100 to £300 (in £50 increments). Choosing a higher excess will result in a cheaper premium.
Personal effects refer to items taken from home such as clothing, bedding, toiletries etc. Often you would find that these items are covered on your home contents insurance policy, and as such there is no need to insure them a second time.
Equipment refers to items used when caravanning, such as gas bottles, pots and pans, security devices, awnings, water carriers etc.
Please note that we cannot cover "high risk" items such as cameras, laptops, mobile phones, pedal cycles and associated equipment. Please see page 9 of your policy booklet for a full list of items that are defined as "high risk". You should look to insure these items under your home contents insurance policy.
Tracking devices are by far the most effective security solution to beat the caravan thieves. They can quickly guide police to the exact location of the stolen caravan. We can offer a significant discount of 25% if you fit an approved caravan tracking device.

You can also pay by cheque, however, we are unable to start your cover until your cheque has been received at our office.
This is a higher excess of £500 for storm or flood related damage between 1st November and 15th March. In order to avoid this, ensure your caravan is regularly supervised, so damage can be identified immediately and dealt with as soon as possible. Also your caravan should have its water drained from the system and any tanks.
This unique identification number can be found in the bottom right corner of your caravan windows in dot-matrix text, or on the A-frame at the front of the caravan.
