A new season and a new model the Atlas Jasmine offers a very comfortable lodge for a retirement or holiday retreat!
Atlas has definitely not been resting on their laurels for 2022; no in fact they have been very proactive in improving and adding to their line-up of holiday caravans and lodges.
New for 2022 is the Atlas Jasmine holiday lodge with the familiar smart looks and modern design you come to expect from this Hull-based manufacturer.
Our review model was the first Atlas Jasmine to be built for the 2022 season so odd bits might change – but this prototype was built to the usual Atlas standards.
Front patio doors take you into the lounge area of the Atlas Jasmine holiday lodge. Here, there are plenty of windows allowing good natural light into the lodge.
There are two free-standing settees – one to seat up to four people, and the other for at least two, plus a coffee table and freestanding foot cushion.
A stylish log-effect fire is set into the wall for cosy nights in and there’s a large freestanding TV next to it with enough space for other entertainment gadgetry.
LED downlighters in the ceiling and inset into alcove areas will provide a nice ambience in the evening.
The kitchen in the Atlas Jasmine is L-shaped and offers an excellent worktop area as well as a plentiful amount of cupboard storage. There’s also good drawer storage too and a large gas hob, with a separate oven and eye-level grill across the way, next to a large larder-style cupboard and integrated fridge/freezer.
Wine lovers also get a chiller – it really is a fantastic kitchen for entertaining and very well designed. The dining table in the centre of the kitchen seats four on retro-style, mustard coloured bistro chairs.
Into the sleeping area of the Atlas Jasmin and you have a twin room and of course a master bedroom. The twin bedroom is spacious room with a good-sized floor area for changing. A side window allows in plenty of light levels and there’s plenty of overhead storage above the beds with integral lighting.
There’s also a small dresser type table (or even a desk) unit with an oval mirror above it and the colour scheme is nice and fresh with light greys and yellow.
The twin bedroom also has access to the main shower/loo area direct – so sort of an en-suite, which is accessible from the main corridor too. This is a good size with a walk-in-shower and cool rectangular hand basin with rounded edges sitting on top of a double-doored cupboard.
Into the master bedroom and again that 14 ft width plays a big part in making the Atlas Jasmine spacious in every way. Storage here is a plus point, with plenty of drawers and shelf space.
We liked the French doors which allows natural light to flood in, as well as added ventilation on a hot day.
There’s a large dresser at the foot of the bed with large drawers but the dressing table is small and we feel should have been larger.
A walk-in wardrobe offers hanging space, plus four and shelves and the en-suite has a similar shower, toilet and handbasin as the main bathroom. It’s quite compact, but perfectly practical and private from the rest of the holiday lodge.
In this video, we take a look around the 2022 Atlas Jasmine holiday lodge:
Verdict: The new Jasmine holiday lodge is a good addition to the Atlas stable. It’s well-equipped and we loved the kitchen area and its pull out food/storage baskets in its huge cupboards. The whole kitchen offers so much, including a microwave too. The bedrooms are large and we liked the modern design touches, including the light wood finish, which gives the Jasmine an airy ambience.
Atlas had already taken orders for this new model so if you’re after one you’d better move quick!
Plus points: Good- sized bedrooms and lounge, plus kitchen with acres of storage and wine chiller..
Minus points: Master bedroom dressing table is small for the size of room
In a nutshell; The new Jasmine offers a family of four a well-designed and practical lodge, and nobody should feel space is lacking in this 14ft wide unit.
