Pemberton’s Park Lane line up receives some extra tweaks for 2022
Like many manufacturers, Pemberton Leisure Homes have seen unprecedented demand and with material shortages production has also been affected.
But small product developments have taken place and for 2022 their popular Park Lane model has had some improvements.
We take a look at the 43ft x 12ft, two bedroomed Pemberton Park Lane static caravan. The exterior is notably different with extra height, as the designers have stretched it to 8ft high walls, enabling a large window over the front patio doors.
This also adds extra light and a greater feeling of space inside overall.
Also new is the wood effect aluminium exterior finish, plus a galvanised chassis, residential spec and full guttering make it ideal for all year-round use.
Stepping into the lounge area and you’re be hit by the real build quality of the Pemberton Park Lane. It’s all very solid and in the spacious lounge you’ll find a settee, two armchairs and a cushioned foot rest. There’s an electric fire with wall mounted TV fixing points above and block shelving below.
The lounge has a combined kitchen with breakfast bar, complete with three bar chairs lounge side, with brushed chrome pendant lights above, and a further dining area for four in the opposite corner of the kitchen.
There’s an oven, grill and microwave integrated into an expanse of cupboard storage with cream gloss doors in a dark wood surround. A parquet wood effect flooring really finishes of the stylish design in the kitchen dining area, with accents of light blue in the sink and cooker splashbacks, and curtains.
With the large front window area, side windows and a skylight in the cooking zone, the Pemberton Park Lane has masses of natural light flooding in during the day.
For this year the twin beds in the Park Lane are now three feet wide and they also have overhead cupboards, as well as a wardrobe by the entrance door of the room. They’re set in an L-shaped arrangement too, which works well.
Next is the main bathroom with shower and loo plus smart standalone hand basin. Storage isn’t in short supply here either and there’s that lovely parquet style flooring in here too.
Into the Pemberton Park Lane master bedroom and here you have a bedroom with a real feel of luxury about it, complete with a velvet padded headboard.
With two bedside cupboards and a good amount of plug sockets and lighting the master bedroom also comes with plenty of wardrobe storage which also incorporates mirrored doors and drawers beneath.
The bedroom has been completely redesigned from the 2021 model and now has an en-suite with a bath and overhead shower. This is stylish and practical and certainly adds to the luxury of the en suite.
Verdict: With its new end bedroom configuration the Pemberton Park Lane certainly has been tweaked to offer more luxury touches and a holiday caravan with the added comfort of a residential spec. We loved the kitchen and the breakfast bar – all very classy and the extra height certainly makes this feel far larger and brighter even on a dull day.
Plus points: Extra height and larger front window over patio doors, luxury end bedroom and en-suite.
Minus points: No dressing table in the master bedroom and the en-suite bath could be small for some people.
In a nutshell: The Park Lane offers a solid well-built holiday caravan with a plush interior, this is reflected in the price, but for many it’s worth it.
