2022 Sunseeker Solis static caravan

Sunseeker has established themselves in the static caravan market after just a few years.

Successful lodge and park home manufacturer Prestige took on the static caravan market a few years ago with the Sunseeker brand.

Here, we step inside the two bedroomed 2022 Sunseeker Solis, one of a two model range, offering a great static caravan for a couple or family.

The Sunseeker Solis has a distinctive front overhang roof line with two downlighters and it also comes with optional front patio doors. Guttering is fitted, there’s a galvanised chassis and the overall exterior finish is very good as we’d expect from the Prestige brand.

A side entrance door takes you into the kitchen dining area, complete with fixed L-shaped seating, a free-standing table and two stools. The dining seating isn’t bad but some extra support would be an added comfort. Lighting is taken care of with a pendant light over the table.

Over in the kitchen, the cupboard doors are finished in grey with wooden worktops and surrounds. The L-shaped kitchen offers plenty of worktop and storage and comes with gas oven, hob and grill with extractor fan. A fridge, separate freezer and microwave complete the kitchen’s features. It’s practical, yet stylish with ceiling lights and several sockets.

The modern grey colour scheme continues in the lounge area, where you’ll find two settees, a TV cabinet, a coffee table and a small cabinet with shelves. There are five windows in the lounge area and with the patio front doors, it creates a bright and airy space for relaxing.

For night lighting a single pendant light is fitted and there’s an electric fire if needed, but with central heating as standard, keeping warm out-of-season won’t be a problem, along with the UPVC double glazing.

Through to the bedrooms there’s a twin bedroom on the left of the small corridor. There are two wall-mounted cupboards – one over each bed – plus a shared wardrobe. The beds are adult sized and a large window lets in plenty of light and beneath is a small central shelving unit.

The main bathroom is opposite the twin bedroom, complete with shower, and a large hand basin on top of a storage cupboard. It’s a decent size and the wood cabinetry continues here, plus there’s a wooden Venetian blind over the window.

Into the main bedroom and the contemporary grey and mustard décor is pleasing with overbed storage, a wardrobe and a small cupboard either side of the double bed. There’s plenty of room to move around but it’s lacking a dressing table.

But, there’s an en-suite loo and hand basin, although for showering, all occupants have just the one shower to use.

Verdict: The Sunseeker Solis is a modern, well-planned holiday caravan. Although storage in the lounge area is lacking, the quality and practical design are plus points.

Plus points: Central heating as standard, practical kitchen with ample worktop and storage.

Minus points: Little storage in the lounge area, seating in dinette isn’t very supportive and no dressing table

In a nutshell; A static caravan which comes from a respected lodge and park home manufacturer, the Sunseeker Solis has a generous sized lounge with lots of natural light.
