What are ‘high risk items’?

‘High risk items’ are not usually covered under our static caravan, holiday lodge and chalet policy. We can however cover ‘high risk items’ if your holiday caravan is your main residence and you have no other form of household insurance.

‘High risk items’ include jewellery, cameras, mp3 players, laptops, mobile phones and pedal cycles. For a full list see our policy booklet. These items have a high insurance risk associated to them, often because they are expensive and either attractive to thieves or prone to damage.

We offer a separate policy for gadget and leisure equipment you own such as laptops, tablets, mp3 players, cameras, bicycles, fishing tackle, surfboards, tents and much more.

You can also often insure high risk items through your home contents insurance policy to ensure they are covered when you take them away from home.
