What items are classed as ‘contents’ on your static caravan, holiday lodge and chalet policy?

‘Contents’ are covered under our static caravan, holiday lodge and chalet policy. ‘Contents’ refers to any items which are used specifically in your static caravan, holiday caravan or chalet, or which are equipment or accessories. This includes things such as gas bottles, pots and pans, gas barbecues, free standing furniture, garden furniture and other things stored inside locked outbuildings and sheds. It also includes items such as televisions and radios, providing they are used solely in the holiday caravan. You should ensure you have included an adequate sum for all your holiday caravan’s contents to ensure cover applies to every item. However, ‘contents’ excludes any items classed as ‘personal possessions’ or ‘high risk items’.
