2022 ABI Beverley static caravan

As you step in through the side door of the ABI Beverley static caravan, your first glance will tell you that there’s a natural, country feel about the styling. That’s created by wood finish with prominent knotting for the kitchen worktops, the dining table top and one wall of the kitchen.

As soon as you begin to explore further, though, the full character of this holiday caravan’s latest interior design becomes clear: the country wood idea is combined with fully modern elements.

The two large sofas are plain mid grey. In the kitchen and the lounge, the cabinetry furniture is beige; grey and beige being very much the on-trend hues of 2022/3.

The cushions bring in pops of colour: lime green and turquoise. Turn the cushions one way and you have lime green. Turn them the other way around and the dark turquoise becomes the accent hue. You can change the look of the ABI Beverley lounge with the flick of four cushions!

In the curtain pattern, an abstract suggestion of leaves features lime green, dark turquoise and a scattering of woodland shades. The tops and tie backs are in a pale green linen fabric and the curtains hang on smart, super-modern black poles.

A flickering flame-effect fire is housed in a broad, black, oblong surround; modern and stunning. It’s the centrepiece of a wall unit of unusual design. It has three sides, and provides shelving plus two double-doored cabinets, offset from one another, one below the fire and one above. This wall unit brings together the beige theme and the knotted wood, as do the two coffee tables, one with two cabinets and a shelf, the other with two wide drawers and a shelf beneath them.

The position of one of the sofas creates a semi divide between the lounge and the dining table. Here, the lovely, rich, dark turquoise appears again, for the upholstery of the chairs.

The dining suite is the focal point of this area, with the L-shaped kitchen facing it. If you’re not taking part in cooking procedures, you could just sit at the table and watch (or chat).

Black is the accent colour of the ABI Beverley’s kitchen. A holiday home interior designer told us recently that black makes holiday homes look expensive, and it certainly creates a quality look here!

The tap, sink and drainer and drawer handles are all black, as is the cooker (with a grill, oven, and four burners with a cast iron pan stand. The microwave, mounted in a wall cabinet on the front end of the kitchen, is also black, sitting in a broad brushed steel frame.

Four lower units, three wide drawers and two double-doored upper cabinets plus a single cabinet, together give buyers of the ABI Beverley static caravan plenty of storage capacity.

The fridge-freezer is separate from the main kitchen area, alongside the entrance door.

The knotted wood door between the fridge-freezer and the main kitchen area opens to the corridor that leads, first, to the twin room, on the left, with stunning upholstered bedheads that use dark turquoise, pale blues and greys in a diamond pattern set within a wide plain dark turquoise frame.

There’s just enough clothing accommodation here, with a wardrobe and a drawer beneath it, a small cabinet between the beds, and two over-bed cabinets plus shelves.

On, down the corridor as we explore, we reach the family’s shower room on the right, with a black towel warmer and grey stone effect ‘tiled’ panel in the shower area. Nicely stylish. The heating unit is cleverly disguised in a cupboard above the toilet.

And so to the main bedroom. And what a room! First. It’s spacious. Second. It’s really stylish. The turquoise bedhead style of the kids’ room is here too, together with matching curtains.

Grey mirror-glass pendant lights hang beside the bed. A suite of two wardrobes and two wide drawers amply takes care of clothing hideaway needs and a neat dressing table, with a dark turquoise upholstered, unusual D-shaped stool, and three drawers, could double as a desk if you need to allow work to intrude into your leisure time.

A door set at an angle opens to this room’s enclave of luxury: a bathroom with an over-bath shower. Black and grey dominate the styling here, grey for the tiles around the bath and black for the towel warmer, tap and shower fitting.

As we walked back along the corridor to the kitchen, we imagined the aromas of toast, bacon and coffee drifting from the kitchen at the start of an ABI Beverley day, and then the day progressing; toys, television, walking boots on, in whatever order suits you. And then, perhaps, much later, stepping through the front patio doors, for a salute to the gin culture, on the decking.

Our review Beverley caravan was sited at Holgates Ribble Valley Rimington Leisure Park. Its plot is on the perimeter of the park, with far-reaching farmland and hill views.

In this video we take a look around the 2022 ABI Beverley static caravan:

The ABI Beverley – well-priced, well-specced, with a luxurious bedroom, and beautifully styled to appeal to most tastes, in this location, is surely an ambassador for the entire holiday caravan lifestyle.

Verdict: Bold styling softened by natural wood effect, lovely lounge comfort, a well designed kitchen-dining area and a really luxurious main bedroom. The ABI Beverley, with its new colours for 2022/3, gives buyers a very appealing holiday caravan that seems to us to offer enticing value

Minus points: The twin bedroom doesn’t have much floor space

Plus points: A bath in the main bedroom’s en suite. Lift-up bed in the main bedroom. Large main bedroom. Good amount of kitchen storage capacity.

In a nutshell: New styling for 2022/3 creates a super-modern look with strong appeal. Beige and black, with bright accent colours, give the ABI Beverley static caravan a smart aspect.
