Atlas lodges are styled for the modern user and the latest Lilac is no exception
The Atlas Lilac holiday lodge offers plenty of space for four and contemporary styling too.
The Lilac comes on a galvanised chassis with PVC double glazed windows. Vinyl cladding is also standard and the lodge has a unique front profile with a bay window on one side with French doors offset on the other.
Finished in light grey cladding with black overhead surround the Atlas Lilac lodge will stand out on a holiday park.
The interior boasts light greys mixed with light wood grain, offering a contemporary feel. The large front lounge has two free-standing two-seater settees. There’s a large fireplace with stove-style electric fire (although central heating is standard), and a TV cabinet in the front corner.
The dining table shares the lounge area, seating up to six people, with easy access to the kitchen which is separated by an L-shaped island unit, complete with two bar stools.
The Atlas Lilac’s kitchen is large and comes with electric oven and gas hob as well as a fridge/freezer. However, a microwave is on the options list – which we think one should be included – but the kitchen has stacks of storage and worktop too.
We also liked the wooden partition behind the lounge area, which has an open plan side study complete with desk and chair with useful wall shelves added.
There are integral ceiling spotlights, as well as hanging pendant lights, plus mains/USB sockets provided throughout the Atlas Lilac lodge.
Down the hallway you enter the master bedroom, which in this width allows for a generous sized room. It’s well appointed too, with large side dressers either side of the bed and a dressing table with large padded seat and mirror. Wooden slats above the bed make for a decorative feature and headboard.
There’s also a large walk-in wardrobe with drawer storage and shelves plus excellent hanging storage.
From the bedroom there is the adjoining bathroom – with bath and shower over. A large, modern hand basin is placed on a good sized storage cupboard and a large window allows in ventilation and natural light, while a towel rail radiator allows towels to be dried too.
Into the second bedroom there are two large single beds with a good sized central chest of drawers, making this a pleasant and spacious second bedroom. Storage is taken well care of with a wardrobe and dressing table – and the room is bright, light and airy too.
Just off the main corridor is the shower room complete with walk-in shower cubicle with sliding doors. There’s a loo, of course, and a good sized hand basin with plenty of cupboard and shelf storage below.
Verdict: Atlas has produced a lodge that’s very modern with an interior most will love. The light grey colours combined with the light wood grained furniture offers a fresh feel to the whole interior design of the lodge. It’s spacious and the light colour scheme complements this. Although our Atlas Lilac review model was a prototype it was well-made and finished to a high standard.
Plus points: Large bedrooms, bathroom, and also excellent kitchen area. Feels upmarket
Minus points: We think a microwave should be fitted as standard
In a nutshell: The Atlas Lilac lodge offers good value for money overall with many high end touches found in much more expensive lodges. We loved the modern interior décor and build quality.
