A stylish mid-range static caravan with a retro twist
Will the new Carnaby Carrington static caravan win over buyers in an increasingly competitive mid-market?

About Carnaby: 50 years of caravan manufacturing
Based near Bridlington, Carnaby has quietly built a strong reputation for producing quality static caravans and holiday lodge for both the UK and European markets.
In 2026, the manufacturer celebrates an impressive 50-year milestone – no small feat in an industry known for its challenges and changing demand.
Marking this anniversary, Carnaby has introduced a fresh three-model range, with the Carrington positioned squarely in the popular mid-range sector.
Exterior
The exterior of the Carrington is clad with planked aluminium, with alternative finishes available as optional upgrades. Standard specification includes, full guttering, exterior LED wall lights, and a galvanized chassis for long-term durability.

Our review model came with optional front patio doors, although large panoramic front windows are usually fitted as standard, helping maximise natural light and views from the lounge.
Interior
Step inside and the Carrington welcomes you with a light, contemporary interior softened by retro-inspired touches influences.

At the front, the lounge offers a built-in electric fire, with storage surround, wall mounted TV fittings and a comfortable four-seater sofa a stand alone armchair.

It’s carpeted of course and that transitions into an easy clean floor for the kitchen and dining room area.
The standout feature here is the décor—particularly the 1970s-inspired patterned curtains, which add character without overwhelming the space.
Kitchen and dining
The Carnaby Carrington static caravan offers a good practical kitchen, offering good worktop space, ample cupboard storage, a gas oven with four-burner hob, plus a fridge with separate freezer.
A microwave is available, though notably only as an optional extra, which may disappoint some buyers at this price point.
Design details such as chrome-finished sockets, woodgrain cabinet doors and integrated LED lighting elevate the overall look.

The adjacent dining area comfortably seats four and continues the subtle retro styling theme.

Sleeping
Through to the back of the Carrington and the twin bedroom is opposite the main bathroom. It has two parallel single beds with storage cupboard in between.

Overhead of the two beds is a large wall cupboard with shelves and the wardrobe gives two people enough storage for their belongings.
Comfort is enhanced by Carnaby’s own branded mattresses, along with conveniently placed mains sockets and USB charging points.
Family shower room
Opposite the twin bedroom is the main washroom with a thermostatically controlled shower and a hand basin is placed on top of a cupboard.

There’s also a bathroom cabinet with a mirror and an extractor fan is also part of the spec. The loo is placed on a slight angle and next to the large side frosted window.
Master bedroom
The master bedroom is one of the Carrington’s strongest features, boasting a king-sized bed.
It’s a spacious area with a large floor level window allowing lots of natural light to flood in, as well as ventilation.

The master bedroom also has a dresser with a large mirror and cupboard/drawers plus a padded stool and well-placed mains sockets.
The bed has a small bedside cabinet and wall mounted reading light at either side for nighttime reading.

A walk-in wardrobe provides generous storage, making it ideal for longer stays.

The master bedroom also benefits from an en-suite, complete with a shower, toilet, hand basin, storage cupboard and chrome radiator – adding a welcome touch of convenience and privacy.
Verdict: The Carnaby Carrington is a well-built and thoughtfully designed static caravan that offers excellent value for money.
We loved that slight retro twist and the comfort of the lounge area, as well as size of the master bedroom, with ample storage.
The main drawback is the lack of a microwave as standard, which feels like a minor cost-saving measure. But aside from that, it’s a strong all-round package.
Plus points: Competitive price, comfortable, stylish interior, spacious and well-equipped master bedroom
Minus points: No microwave as standard, but little else
In a nutshell: The Carnaby Carrington static caravan delivers style, comfort and solid build quality at a competitive price. Backed by Carnaby’s 50 years of experience, it’s a smart choice for buyers seeking a mid-range holiday caravan with a bit of personality.
