Unbiased reviews of the latest static caravan models
Liz King gives us the lowdown on Swift’s latest static caravan offering. There are seven models in the Soleil range from the 28×10 with two bedrooms to the 35×12 with three bedrooms and with two interior colour schemes available.
Times may be hard for the holiday home industry but they haven’t stopped Willerby Holiday homes from launching two versions of its new Atlanta range for the 2013 season. Both models are 40ft x 12ft 6in, one having two bedrooms and the other three. It is the latter three bedroom model which is reviewed here.
The static caravan we are reviewing here is the popular 36ft x 12ft two bedroom model with an all-up ex-works price of £19,875
Of all the static caravans we’ve reviewed this year, the 39ft x 12ft Carnaby Serenade 392B two bedroom model has to be one of the best, and with an ex works price of £40,369.39 including VAT of £1,786.39 it brims over with features and fittings.
The Woodland Vue static caravan is a single unit made by Hull based Victory Leisure Homes and it didn’t take us long to see the company’s trademark; an eye-catching feature wall of plum, cream and putty coloured wide horizontal stripes.
Launched as part of a new six model line up for the 2012 season, the ABI Tebay Platinum should be on the list for anyone looking for a new budget static caravan.
The Eden is a new model for the 2012 season from Willerby Holiday Homes and comes in a two and three bedroom version, the model reviewed here being the former.
The aluminium clad Willerby Isis range of three holiday homes is available as 33ft x 12ft and a 35ft x 12ft two bedroom homes and a 38ft x 12ft three bedroom home. This review features the 35ft model incorporating the optional Outlook French doors in the end wall.
The 38ft x 12ft Swift Auvergne features a kitchen at the end of the caravan, where the lounge usually is, making it a unique and interesting layout.
